Intruder Regulation, standards and policy are put in place to ensure that your system is installed, maintained and monitored to a standard that is acceptable to both the police and insurance companies.
Chubb currently installs and maintain access control systems to comply with the following:
NCP 109 NSI Code of Practice for design, installation and maintenance of access control systems.
Chubb currently accesses control systems to comply with the following:
NCP 104 NSI Code of Practice for the design installation and maintenance of CCTV systems.
BS EN 50132-7 Alarms systems, CCTV surveillance systems for use in security applications
Additionally we have recently been permitted to install to BS 8418
BS 8418 Installation and remote monitoring of detector-activated CCTV systems code of practice.
Installation to this code will grant customers guaranteed police response, Chubb are the only national security company with BS 8418 accreditation.
Data Protection Act (DPA)
It is a legal requirement for operators of surveillance cameras to adhere to the Data Protection Act. Chubb can advise if the DPA is applicable to you, but please be aware it is your responsibility as the owner/operator of a CCTV system to comply.
