Chubb Fire & Security UK & Ireland has been shortlisted in the Most Impactful Reward and Recognition Strategy category at the Appreciation Awards 2026.
Organised by Reward Gateway, a leading employee engagement, reward and recognition operating system (OS), the Appreciation Awards celebrate organisations that are building better, kinder, and more impactful workplaces and creating outstanding employee experiences.
The Most Impactful Reward and Recognition Strategy award recognises organisations that use innovative reward and recognition programmes to strengthen workplace culture, reinforce organisational values, and create a positive impact on the employee experience. It also celebrates businesses that successfully engage people leaders, champions, and colleagues to make appreciation part of everyday working life.
Our shortlisted entry recognises the success of People Matters, Chubb’s employee engagement hub and appreciation strategy. Since its launch in December 2024, the programme has helped create a more connected, inclusive, and engaging experience for colleagues across the business.
Creating a Culture of Appreciation
At Chubb Fire & Security, protecting people is our purpose, and that commitment extends to our employees. Through employee feedback, engagement surveys, and ongoing consultation, we identified an opportunity to move beyond recognising exceptional performance and create an experience where colleagues feel genuinely appreciated as individuals.
To support this vision, People Matters was repositioned as the central home for appreciation, recognition, wellbeing, benefits, and communications. Appreciation became the thread connecting every element of the employee experience, helping employees feel seen, supported, and valued.
Recognition was embedded throughout the employee lifecycle, from welcome e-cards and birthday celebrations to loyalty milestones, appreciation vouchers, internal colleague ‘Bravo’ Awards, and the annual employee awards programme, Chubb Superstars.
The engagement hub also brings together wellbeing resources, communications, employee support, and benefits into what employees have described as “the one-stop shop for every single thing people-related in our business”.
Congratulations and Good Luck
Being shortlisted is a fantastic recognition of the colleagues, people leaders and champions who have helped make appreciation part of everyday life at Chubb. Together, they have helped create a culture where appreciation is embedded into the employee experience and where people feel recognised, supported, and connected.
Congratulations to all of the finalists, and good luck for the awards ceremony in November!
