Careline Care, a leading supplier of digital care at home, has been at the forefront of providing critical support and assistance to individuals across the UK for over 25 years. To elevate their service offerings and enhance their operational efficiency, Careline Care implemented Chubb’s Cloud Care Control solution.

Customer Needs

Careline Care was interested in adopting a digital platform that could enhance their traditional alarm receiving operations and create a seamless and responsive support system for service users.

Careline Care was particularly keen on a solution that could not only handle traditional analogue alarms but also support digital advancements, such as video interactions. This prompted a comprehensive upgrade to their system with Cloud Care Control.

Solution and Benefits

Chubb supplied Cloud Care Control, a versatile platform which offers digital and analogue alarm handling capabilities via IoT Comms. Careline Care was able to seamlessly transition from their existing Telecare setup to a more advanced and integrated response system called CLCM.

The platform provides instant alarm routing, real-time monitoring, and comprehensive AI tracking and analytics of each alert from initiation to resolution. Should users need help, Cloud Care Control integrates with various alarm sources such as pendants, wearable devices, voice-activated systems like Alexa, and a smartphone app. It also offers enhanced user interactions through video capabilities, enabling face-to-face communication between service users and responders.

The implementation process expanded Carline Care’s operations, including support for both UK and North American markets. The comprehensive nature of the platform also facilitated disaster recovery capabilities, making Careline Care a critical partner in ensuring uninterrupted service for a select number of its customers during emergencies.

Innovative Features

The Cloud Care Control platform provides real-time timestamps and details of each alarm’s journey, from the moment of activation to the final resolution. The platform’s cloud-based nature means that operators only require a headset, laptop, and internet connection, eliminating the need for extensive physical hardware. For users needing help outside the home, the system’s GPS tracking enables precise location pinpointing for quick responder assistance.

Project Summary

Through strategic planning and collaborative efforts, Chubb successfully implemented Cloud Care Control for Careline Care, transforming their alarm handling capabilities. This project, which spanned several months, involved meticulous evaluation and adaptation of their existing systems to seamlessly integrate the new digital solution.
