The Project

In June 2023, Rhenus Group opened its newest sustainable development, known as the ‘Rhenus Campus’ in Baytree, Nuneaton. The site is home to two warehouses, totalling one million square feet – the equivalent of 36 football pitches, and plays a significant role in providing efficient storage, B2B and B2C order fulfilment, value added services and returns management to its customers across a range of sectors. With substantial goods moving through the campus on a daily basis, Rhenus needed a trusted partner to provide reliable security solutions for its major new warehouses.

The Solutions

Following a thorough consultation over a number of months, Chubb designed and installed a comprehensive range of security solutions that protect and secure the assets of Rhenus. Chubb recommended an integrated system that consisted of access control, CCTV, and intruder alarms. The access control featured Protégé GX by ICT, while the 350-plus cameras operate on Hikvision – a brand Rhenus already uses at other sites. As the Rhenus Campus operates 24/7/365, Chubb provided Rhenus with the confidence that the campus is protected and remotely monitored by Chubb operatives at one of its Alarm Receiving Centres.
