Farms, rural businesses and homeowners in rural areas face a particular combination of challenges, from theft and trespass to fire risks and the need to protect people, property and critical assets.

To help address these challenges, Chubb Fire & Security is hosting a free Farm & Rural Security & Fire Safety Event, bringing together security and fire safety specialists, manufacturers and industry partners to demonstrate the latest technologies and solutions available to the agricultural sector. Hosted in association with the NFU (National Farmers’ Union), Rutland Agricultural Society and Leicestershire & Rutland Rural Policing Team, the event is designed to provide practical advice, live demonstrations and the opportunity to discuss real-world challenges facing farmers and rural businesses and share insight on proactive approaches to crime prevention.

Why Attend?

Rural crime continues to affect farms and agricultural businesses across the UK, while health and safety remains a significant consideration for the sector. Recent research in the NFU Mutual Rural Crime Report 2026 highlights an increase in agricultural vehicle theft, quad bike theft and livestock theft, reinforcing the importance of taking a proactive approach to security.
