We consistently evolve our fire detection product portfolio to offer full-service solutions suitable for a wide range of property types. From simple, straightforward smoke detectors to advanced beam and aspiration detection, Chubb designs, installs, service and maintains all your fire systems and ancillaries.
Smoke and heat detectors pick up on early indicators that a fire has started – and exactly where it has broken out. High intensity LEDs, combined with sounders give a clear indication when a unit is in its alarm status.
Smoke detectors are the more sensitive and are installed in any environment where smoke or steam would not normally be present. Whereas heat detectors are installed in areas such as kitchens where smoke detectors would constantly false alarm during routine cooking.
Multi-sensors combine smoke and heat in one detector and offer immunity to false alarms in certain applications.
Chubb offers a variety of point detectors from leading manufacturers.
Aspirating Smoke Detection can detect fires at a very early stage, even before the usual visual signs of a fire become apparent.
Particularly designed to protect high risk, high value locations, including mission-critical facilities like Data Centres and Server Rooms where downtime from smoke or fires can be incredibly costly.
Aspirating systems can be fully integrated with fire detection systems.
Chubb has access to a variety of early detection systems in a variety of models to accommodate a broad range of applications and sectors.
An optical beam smoke detector is a device that uses a projected beam of light to detect smoke across large areas, typically as an indicator of fire. They are used to detect fires in buildings where standard point smoke detectors would either be uneconomical or restricted for shopping centres, churches, leisure centres, warehouses, and factories.
There are two types of beam detection devices:
Chubb provides full-service fire safety monitoring, as well as a range of additional fire maintenance and support services. Our aim is to make meeting and exceeding your fire safety obligations as simple and straightforward as possible, leaving you to focus on your business.
