Smoke and heat detectors pick up on early indicators that a fire has started – and exactly where it has broken out. High intensity LEDs, combined with sounders give a clear indication when a unit is in its alarm status.
Smoke detectors are the more sensitive and are installed in any environment where smoke or steam would not normally be present. Whereas heat detectors are installed in areas such as kitchens where smoke detectors would constantly false alarm during routine cooking.
Multi-sensors combine smoke and heat in one detector and offer immunity to false alarms in certain applications.

Aspirating systems can be fully integrated with fire detection systems.

An optical beam smoke detector is a device that uses a projected beam of light to detect smoke across large areas, typically as an indicator of fire. They are used to detect fires in buildings where standard point smoke detectors would either be uneconomical or restricted for shopping centres, churches, leisure centres, warehouses, and factories.
