READER TECHNOLOGIES
Reader and credential technologies such as proximity ID cards, three-factor identity authentication, and biometric fingerprint technologies are an efficient way to improve your security.
Chubb has been at the forefront of innovative security solutions for over 200 years, ensuring our products and services are progressive and up to date with the latest legislation and technology. Our bespoke security solutions are uniquely tailored to you – whether this is for a multi-site or single-site facilities. Reader and credential technologies such as proximity ID cards, three-factor identity authentication, and biometric fingerprint are an efficient way to improve your security. Implementing these technologies on your premises means that fewer personnel are required onsite to verify the identity of staff and visitors. We will conduct a site survey to assess your premises requirements and provide you with a comprehensive tailored solution to meet your needs and budget.
Chubb offers proximity ID cards for easy onsite access for authorised personnel, ensuring entry and exit to your premises is handled securely and efficiently. The ID card is either presented to a card reader or, with longer range ID cards, the system recognises the card in your pocket or bag – allowing for a hands-free experience. With the use of Near Field Communication (NFC), smartphones can be used to access premises instead of proximity ID cards, which makes the process even easier.
In addition to proximity ID cards, the security system can be enhanced through verification technology. Much like two-factor authentication for passwords to online accounts, extra verification technology – such as an additional pin or biometric fingerprint scanning – provides an additional layer of protection on top of proximity ID cards.
In the case of a proximity ID card being lost or stolen, additional layers of protection ensure your security system is not compromised.
Three-factor authentication is the most secure way of verifying the identity of your personnel onsite; Chubb offers the use of proximity ID cards, pin codes, biometrics such as fingerprints, irises, or faces
Chubb offers the most secure level of access control using biometrics. Using unique physiological characteristics such as fingerprints, hand or face geometry and retinal eye scans, to gain control to your premises ensures only authorised personnel enter and exit your site. Biometric access control cannot be stolen, delivering unobtrusive and personalised security for your building.
Used alongside proximity ID cards and pin codes, biometric access control guarantees additional security for high-risk areas onsite and can be used and tailored to multi-site or single-site facilities.
