Fire Safety Advisor Requirements

Under the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008, high occupancy buildings must appoint a fire safety adviser. A fire safety adviser must hold a “current building fire safety qualification”. Successful completion of Chubb’s fire safety adviser training course will ensure you have the required building fire safety qualification.

Course Details

Chubb’s fire safety adviser course is nationally recognised and designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to perform the duties of a fire safety adviser.

Chubb also delivers a fire safety adviser re-certification course to update your fire safety knowledge and skills. To remain current, a fire safety adviser must have a building fire safety qualification issued within the last three years.

Chubb’s fire safety adviser course is delivered over two days. This course is currently only delivered in Queensland.
