Chubb Fire & Security Pty Ltd holds the relevant security industry licences in each state and territory of Australia as required by the legislation. Additionally, our employees and contractors are security professionals and hold individual security licences relevant to the activities they undertake in each state and territory.

ASIAL Membership

Chubb is a Platinum Corporate member of the Australian Security Industry Association Limited (ASIAL) and has been part of ASIAL since 1974. We are accredited to the highest security industry standards and are certified by the industry body ASIAL. We comply with all of the latest security policies and standards.

Chubb supports ASIAL’s Security Technician Certification (STC) program that provides industry recognised certification of technicians and engineers. To date over 150 of our technical personnel have achieved ASIAL certification.

Our monitoring centres located in both Brisbane and Sydney are independently audited and graded by Australian Security Industry Association Ltd (ASIAL) to ensure standards are constantly being met. Both of our centres have achieved A1 certifications, the highest grading and only centres in Australia certified to the R1A fully redundant level.

The AS2201.2 Monitoring Centre standard covers:

The physical construction and fire protection of the centre
Restricted access to operations
Integrity and operation of ventilation systems
Multiple redundancy and standby times for power systems
Redundancy of communications and monitoring systems

Chubb operates an ISO 9001:2016 accredited Quality Management System which helps us focus on improving and maximising both the quality and flow of value to our customers.

ISO/27001 Information Security, Cybersecurity and Privacy Protection

Chubb’s two monitoring centres in Brisbane and Sydney are certified for ISO 27001-2022 international standard for information security, cyber security and privacy protection that defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
